MEET THE TEAM

Gueseppe: Co-Owner
& Esper the Dutch Shepherd
With over 14 years of professional dog training experience, Gueseppe prides himself on working with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. He specializes in obedience and behavior modification and brings a calm, thoughtful approach to every dog he works with. Gueseppe believes that as dog owners, it is our responsibility to teach our dogs how to live successfully and harmoniously in a human world. He not only teaches dogs how to meet our needs, but also teaches humans how to better understand and meet their dogs’ needs. As a dad, Gueseppe also understands how important it is for families to feel confident, safe, and supported with their dogs at home. His goal is to help create clear communication, realistic expectations, and stronger relationships between dogs and the people who love them. Esper is Gueseppe’s Dutch Shepherd and our primary demo dog. She helps us train and guide other dogs through the process.

Tiffany: Private Trainer
& Dany the Malinois
Tiffany brings over 10 years of experience from her service in the United States Air Force, where she served as a Military Working Dog Handler, Trainer, and Supervisor. Her expertise spans advanced obedience, protection work, and explosive detection handling, giving her a deep understanding of canine behavior under high-pressure conditions. Tiffany is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships between dogs and their handlers, whether they’re on the front lines or at home.

Becky: Co-Owner
& Board and Train Olive
After years of professional event planning, Becky decided to leave the hospitality industry and begin a new career in what she loves most — working with dogs. She started at a doggy daycare and training facility and quickly found herself partnering with rescue organizations, helping dogs learn obedience and behavior modification so they could be adopted. That experience led her to a high-demand board & train facility in Los Angeles, where she eventually met Gueseppe and they began their dog training journey together. Today, Becky is not only a trainer and business owner, but also a mom. Her experience as a mother has deepened her passion for helping families create safer, calmer, and more realistic relationships between kids and dogs. She brings a thoughtful, practical approach to training, with a focus on helping both dogs and their people thrive in everyday life.

Lexi: Group Trainer
& Arlo the Border Collie
Lexi joined the Companion Canine team after completing our comprehensive, immersive internship program and has continued to grow as a trainer ever since. She brings a strong background in agility training with her Border Collie, Arlo, along with years of hands-on experience working with dogs throughout the Rogue Valley. Her passion, enthusiasm, and contagious energy show up in every session, making her such a valuable part of our team.

Capone: Retired Demo Dog
Pit Bull / Shar Pei Mix
Capone has done his training time, and now prefers keeping an eye on things at our property and assisting with our Board & Train dogs. Capone is enjoying retired life, and will still do literally anything for food.

Lyna: Board & Train Trainer
& King the Cane Corso
Lyna moved here from Los Angeles to join the Companion Canine team and pursue her passion for training dogs. She lives on-site with our Board & Train and boarding dogs, which means your dog is cared for throughout the day in a structured, consistent environment. In addition to training, Lyna is also an experienced groomer and often helps our clients’ dogs look and feel their best during their stay. Her calm presence, hands-on experience, and dedication to the dogs make her such a valuable part of our team.

Junie: Becky's Demo Dog
Chihuahua Mix
Junie is Becky's chihuahua who also helps us train other dogs! Oh, Junie. There's a lot to say about this little ball of energy. She's a great companion and she's always down to come along for whatever we're doing at the time. Her best friend is our cat, Sir Lancelot.

Sophie: Private Trainer
& Thumper the Bully Mix
Sophie is originally from the UK and made the switch from working in people care to pursuing her passion for dogs. Her love for dog training started with her rescue puppy, Thumper, who opened the door to a whole new path. After completing our intensive internship program, Sophie quickly became an invaluable asset to our team. She has continued growing, learning, and building her skills as a trainer ever since. Her natural leadership skills, attention to detail, caring nature, and love for helping dogs and their owners make her a wonderful part of the Companion Canine team.
